End of The Year
End of School
Schools coming to and end
It feels like it just began
Like yesterday was the first day
And every thing was so stray.
But now we only have a week
Until we’re all gone
And the year is a streak n my memory that I will never forget.

** Semi-Formal **
Semi Formal
Wow was Friday so cool. Every body looked so beautiful and it was just a night that I know I will remember for the rest of my life and of course the pictures will help.
When I first got there I was stunned at how many people showed up. And all the girls had dresses in every color. Denise had a pink dress, Lydia had a blue one. I was just like a rainbow of beautiful dresses floating around the room. Even the teacher (Ms. Delcampo, Ms. C, and Mrs. Albanese) looked really pretty.
And when the music started there was no stopping us. Every one was dancing to almost every song and singing.
Well to end this I would have to say that my favorite part of this wonderful experience was when they announced semi formal king, queen, prince, and princess. The king was Brandon L. The queen was Aaliyah D. The prince Brendan M. And princess was Carly C.

LA
The most valuable part of LA this year was when I learned I make my writing more enjoyable to read. I learned this by listening to how she told us to add metaphor or similes to or writing. So that you can still make a point but the readers won’t be bored will reading it. For example we had an assignment were we had to write a letter to a local news paper telling how the mass media is hazardous for children. And I started my essay like this. “Last week 15yr olds Daniel and Timothy Lewis kidnapped 5yr old Amanda Graves from the park while her mother was on the phone. They took her to their house where they beat and tortured for two days. If it had been for their neighbor who heard her poor screams Amanda would have died. And when the boys were asked why they had committed this crime they said because they saw it on the computer.”
Even though this was fictional just imagine if it were real. Well with the help of many things I learned in LA I made that a very great essay and got a good grade on it.
Most Memorable Moment
My most memorable moment it LA. Hmmm…. how and am I suppose to choose one with a crazy, outrageous teacher like Mrs. A.
Well I guess I would have to say it’s when she brought in the camera and was going around all day taking videos and picture. I am sure she got me in a few that look really crazy.
A lesson that made me think
The lesson that made me think was when we had to write essays on many things like a law. The government wanted to pass a law that said the any teens under the age of 16 had to been in the house by 9 o- clock and I felt trapped because what if our government decided to pass that law what would I do?

Person I Admire
Person I Admire
Many people admire super heroes like super man of wonder women. Or celebrities like Beyonce or Alicia Keys. The person I admire hasn’t been on television or won any awards, but I think she should have. The person I admire is my mother well she is not my mother but she should be.
The super women I admire is Katrina Morris. Katrina is my best friend Erika’s mother. She has been like my mother for about 6yrs. Ever since I’ve known her she has been there for me. When I first meant her I was like I am going to hate her, but then I got to know her and have loved her ever since. Over the years I’ve learned more about her and she has learned even more about me. Like what makes me tick or even what makes me laugh.
I learned things like she listen to you when you talk and really tries to understand what you’re feeling. She knows all my secrets and she never tells anyone about them even though she knows she should. And when I ask her a question she answers them to her fullest of her knowledge, because she doesn’t want us to ask the wrong person and find out the wrong things. So she tells use the actual thing then explains it to us so that we better understand it.
Thanks to Katrina I have learned to work up to my full potential. And also not to take life for grated live every day like it’s your last because you never know it might just be.

New Pool for a New School
I personally think that a new pool would be a perfect addition to a new school. I think this because even though we have no pool in our current school we still have a swimming team. And for that reason and many more I think that we need new pool. This brings me to my first topic. We need a new pool so that our swimming team will not have to get up extra early in order to go to practice. And if we have one in school then the swimmers can go to practice after school or during a free period so that they are able to get in more practice time without the risk of being tired so early in the morning.Another reason for a new pool is that we can use it for other reasons. Such as to train the future beach life guards. It would be easier access then going to the YMCA and they don’t have to share it with the rest of the community. And our Life Guards will get in more training time.Oh yea and one more huge reason we can have pool parties without even leaving the campus. And that would be a good reward for the student who complete the work they are given also go above the standards.I also think that we need a pool for the swimming team more then we need and extras field. This is because we already have a field that the student who pertiapate in out door sports can use but our swim team dose not have a local pool that they can go to and practice for there meets and I think that’s just plain unfair. So or those reasons and many more I strongly believe that the new Cape Henlopen High School should have a New Pool.
